Sugaring is a natural and gentle form of hair removal that’s safe for all skin types, including during pregnancy.
Using a warm sugar paste, we carefully remove hair from the root, leaving skin smooth and irritation-free. -
Our paste is proudly made in Canada and crafted with only three ingredients:
White sugar
Water
Lemon juice (citric acid)
It’s 100% natural, biodegradable, and safe—even edible!
-
Sugaring is gentle on all skin types and safe during pregnancy. The sugar paste works at room temperature, removing dead skin and hair—no live skin is harmed or burned.
-
We require hair to be ¼” long (about 14 days of growth). Too short means we may not remove all hair, and full service fees will apply.
-
We do not trim before appointments—please arrive with the correct hair length. Overly long hair may break and cause discomfort.
-
To help us provide the best results:
Hair should be around ¼” (rice grain) in length—trim if needed.
No lotions, oils, deodorant, or face products on the areas to be sugar‑removed.
Skip exfoliating on the day of or the day before your appointment—sugaring does it for you!
-
Must have at least 2 weeks growth from shaving or 4 weeks from last sugaring/waxing
Incorrect hair length may require rescheduling—service fees apply
Arrive with no lotions, deodorant, or makeup, and don’t exfoliate for 24 hours before your appointment.
-
Yes, you can still be sugared! We recommend using a tampon or menstrual cup. You may feel a bit more sensitive—but it’s entirely up to your comfort level.
-
Sugaring typically causes less discomfort since the paste is removed with the direction of hair growth, minimizing breakage and irritation. Mild discomfort is normal, as hair is removed from the root.
-
Below the waist: every 4–6 weeks
Underarms & face: every 2–4 weeks (depending on hair growth)
Arms/legs: every 4–6 weeks
-
Most clients enjoy 2 weeks of smooth skin before regrowth.
With regular sugaring and no shaving in between, it can lead to thinner, slower hair growth—and with time, potential permanent reduction. -
Avoid direct sun, saunas, hot tubs, tight clothing (like leggings or socks), and intense workouts for 24 hours to protect your open follicles and prevent irritation.
Some light hair breakage is normal—especially after your first appointment. This can happen when hair is in different growth stages, or due to friction from tight clothing.
You may notice a few stray hairs in the days after your appointment. These are usually in the telogen (resting) or catagen (transition) phase, where they’re weaker and more likely to break at the surface.
Can I tweeze them?
Yes—within the first week only, you may gently tweeze a few stragglers if needed. After that, we recommend letting all hair grow out naturally so it stays in sync for your next appointment.
Tweezing beyond the first week can interrupt the natural hair cycle, making future sugaring less effective and causing uneven growth
-
Moisturizing is important after sugaring, but it’s best to wait at least 24 hours before applying any lotion. When you do, choose a scent-free, gentle formula.
Avoid lotions with fragrance, alcohol, or essential oils, as these can irritate freshly sugared skin. Look for calming ingredients like aloe, oatmeal, or shea butter to help keep your skin soft and soothed.
-
We do not offer full-body sugaring in one appointment due to time and comfort considerations. We recommend splitting sessions across multiple appointments. Book early to secure multiple spots.
-
Brazilian services: 18+ only
All other services: All ages welcome (minors require guardian consent)
We may pause or stop services if a minor requests it or can’t continue—full payment still applies.
-
We currently do not offer male Brazilian or genital sugaring services at our location. This policy is firm and applies to all clients.
-
Arriving more than 10 minutes late may lead to a shortened appointment or rescheduling, with full service fees still applying.
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charges (see Three‑Strike Policy above).
-
To ensure fairness and respect for all clients and staff, we’ve adopted a “three-strike policy” inspired by wellness industry best practices:
On your first late cancellation or no-show, you’ll receive a friendly reminder of this policy.
A second occurrence will result in a 50% charge of the missed service.
A third violation may lead to requiring full payment in advance for any future appointments—or, in rare cases, a refusal of service.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation to help us maintain punctuality and respect across our schedule.
